Our club is renowned for it’s hospitality and fellowship. Visitors are always made to feel welcome. See our upcoming Guest Speaker list on the left

We meet Wednesday evenings and visitors are always welcome, but please contact us first (see the Contact menu], as we may be out and about that week.

A major activity we are undertaking this year is a Literacy Project in Cambodia, as part of a program of re-connection. The worldwide Rotary CLE Literacy program had its origins in the RC Salisbury with the efforts of Dick Walker in 1985. Eight of us visited Thailand and Cambodia in October to celebrate the 25th Anniversay of our sister club Bangrak in Thailand and visited the three primary schools in Cambodia where the new literacy program is being established. Here is a map of the trip.

In October we  also started a new Rotaract Club in the area with the help of 3 other Rotary Clubs and the other Brisbane Rotaract Clubs. There is a Website and Facebook site and overwhelming interest, so they now have a president and committe and are already plaiing activities and their official charter.

Our Pride of Workmanship 2009 evening also went well – picture gallery to come…
